Do you know something, I have only played there a few times, but it is a hidden gem to be honest and a real bargain at €25 for the Open competition! It reminded me a lot of Augusta, with super fast and undulating green and lots of slopes and various side slope, upslope and downslope lies on the fairways. The rough was unforgiving too, and extremely long, so any errant shots were in serious bother. It was very very enjoyable, we are in peak golf season here now, April through September are great golf months in Ireland, with May to August often being the premium months.
