Interesting food for thought as always my friend. What I would say is that world is always in a state of flux, so one has to be agile and ready to adapt or risk being left behind.

The recent technological advances of A.I. and Automation have certainly pushed the envelope though and we are now living through a time of accelerated change and now more than ever people need to be ready and willing to adapt and retrain.

There are alternatives though like passive income, investments and such, but for the jobs market, one needs to be ready to adapt in my opinion.
