I've sat around a lot of campfires although millions is a slight over-exaggeration; certainly more than I could count though. I recently read a post about camping in the outdoors
This opener and all the cool pics that you've shared of the campfire and different trips has got me thinking that I really need to organise a camping trip with my boys, we have not done it in years and our youngest will be five at the end of the summer, so great time to get back into the outdoors. The one disadvantage we have is the weather is very unpredictable, except that it is very likely to rain! Not always fun when you're camping! Although we have no poisonous spiders, snakes, crocs or other nasties, so not too bad either to be fair like..
We'd spent the day building the fire pit, getting firewood together, tinder, matches, making rudimentary shelter and obtaining camping utensils and food.
That's what it's all about and so worthwhile when you do the prep right.. Thanks for putting camping into my head, whenever we get some summery weather, I'll dust off the tents and surfing gear and we'll get away..
