I'm fortunate like yourself to have ample cover for all of the price increases, but it's definitely impacting my disposable income and investment capital.
I have car insurance, house insurance, dog insurance, health insurance and life assurance, so I'm well covered and more importantly my family are covered if anything happens me, as I bring in 85-90% of the earnings.
I do feel for people who have to cut things like insurance. I suppose their thinking is that they are insuring against something which may not happen, whereas they can definitely watch Netflix or drink the bottle of wine. They'll also feel much better doing the latter. It's short sighted for sure, but that's my take on it.
