Thanks Jasper, ya it was a terrible time, she was still born at full term or "born sleeping" as we like to say now. It will be eight years this August which is hard to believe. She was our second, so we had to be strong for our son, which I believe helped us. Anyway thanks for the kind words.

As for the song, I do also like it as it is, as there are not many songs dedicated to just dogs, so that's kind of cool too, but if it was me, as I said I'd make the lyrics more non descript, but hey you know best, you're the artist 👌
