Jasper you always bring us quality, week in week out and twenty six weeks in a row now, amazing! This week is one of your very best, I really love that Death Cab for Cutie song and I had not heard Sinead O'Connor's Jackie in ages, so they were both beautiful, but the icing on the cake was your own little gem "Baby Don't Cry" - I love the guitar, the lyrics, the genuine passion that comes across in spades. Top notch stuff man, take a bow. I must say that I am very proud that #ttt gets the world premier of this one, thank you.
I am sorry to hear about your lovely little Staffy dying all those years ago, we have two gorgeous female dogs Coco and Loco and my boys would be devastated if anything ever happens them, but alas it will, as we all know that dogs will not get past 12 to 15 years usually. In a way though, when that dark day happens it will prepare them for other sad losses over their lives, hopefully it is a long time before the feel the awful loss of humans close to them, two of them were not born and my eldest was 18 months when my daughter died, so although they talk about her and include her in our family, they were not here to process that loss like my wife and I had to.
So with that said, I think of our daughter when I listen to your song, It is a gorgeous song, maybe an idea instead of saying "that's where good dogs go" swap in something that can apply to dogs or humans and then it can mean different things to different people, like the best songs do. What about "that's where good ones go"?
