Hey @grindan, I'm so glad that you mentioned Adele, as it gave me the chance to go back and read your heart breaking and, in some ways, familiar story. I would have missed it otherwise. Nobody can prepare you for the anguish and pain of losing a child. It was tough for me to read it, as I know that pain, but thanks for the bravery to be so open and share your story and Adele's story for all to see. It's nice that you have told Althea too and that Adele can be part of her life as her little angel sister. Our three boys know all about their sister in heaven and will often draw a little angel in the sky beside Mammy, Daddy and the three of them in pictures they draw. You know how much I love music, well I wouldn't allow myself to listen to any and felt guilty when I smiled or laughed as you said. I did not even know that I stopped listening to music and I would put on a happy face at home as much as possible for my wife and our son, but when I was alone, I'd be in turmoil. I believe time is a great healer, although my wife hates that term. But, I definitely feel better now and have come to terms with it eight years on.
