It's beyond belief what has happened in this tragedy. If I was there and my kids were inside, I would probably have done the same as that heroic lady who saves her kids. In situations like this, officers need to use their gut and instinct and preserve innocent life above all else.

I do disagree with you on one point though, as I believe that "the right to bear arms" is absurd and leads to thousands of needless deaths every year in America (Suicides, toddler shoots Mum/Dad/etc, Homocide by spouse etc etc.) Remove the guns and you reduce these by over 80%.... Just look at what Australia did and how their gun deaths plummeted afterwards.... I'm not saying people can't have guns, but their should be strict rules, licenses and age restrictions at a minimum and the guns should have to remain at the gun clubs.

I have lots of American friends and many disagree with me, but this is how I feel about it. So many innocent children die, who would otherwise be alive in my opinion, because of the gun lobby and resistance to change... Sometimes comedy can explain things very well, I implore you to watch these videos and let me know your thoughts...
