I do follow the golf, and I think these multi millionaires are being greedy to be fair. They tried to pull a similar stroke in the soccer (football) with a European super league that fell flat in it's face (for now)

The greed and money associated with sport is a real pity and really their should be some sort of earning caps to keep things in the realm of the real world, but then again if the players don't get the money, the shareholders do, and that's not good either.

At least in golf, the PGA reinvest money in grass roots and the like..
