Happy birthday and I'm very sorry to hear about the little puppy. Poor little Rusty too will miss his friend terribly. Animals, like humans are resilient though and with time he will learn to move on. Do try to enjoy your birthday though and do something nice for yourself if you can - you are always thinking of others, maybe for that one day think of yourself if you can. I'm glad that your heart could sing soon after too seeing the donkey and goat and you can see the love in that photo you shared.
