Fantasy Football GW32 so far
It hasn't been a terrible week so far, but not a blinder either. Fantastically average I'd say. I still have 5 players to rack up further points and 4 to come off the bench, so if Kane plays I'll easily threaten 60 points. If be happy with that.
Shocking start
Having started the year with 12 players with a combined 24 left feet and 3 with brays to rival the most useless of donkeys, the fact that i am sitting inside the top 11% of players playing fantasy football surprises me and again I'll take it.
Had my initial 10 weeks of the season not been so dismal, i could be threatening the top 50,000 I reckon. The catalyst for those early failings was clinging to the hope that Aubameyang would come good. It took me 12 weeks to finally sell him and i captained him for many of those weeks!
A nice windfall
I used to do pretty well in this contest back in the day, with 70,000 finishes standard and i had one great year in 2008 when Ronaldo was my captain every week. I finished 682nd in the world and boys was it a good year to do it. I inadvertently signed up to a €200 a man Fantasy Football league with 20 lads in my new work place and ended up winning a nice windfall of over €1000. Unbelievably I didn't win the mini league, i came second! One of the lads finished in the top 300 innthe world!
A target
Targets are supposed to be ambitious, so I'll set myself an ambitious one for the rest of the season. That is to finish in the top 500k. I do have a few secret weapons up my sleave, as I still have my triple captain and bench boost chips, as well as my second wildcard. With a double gameweek coming up in GW35 I believe, I can do some damage.
