Yep, It's that time again believe it or not, yes indeed January is once again no more, and for us here in Ireland that means saying goodbye to Winter and hello to Spring, which is always a nice transition. Speaking of transitions, it seems that we may be entering a time of Crypto transition too as signs and signals start to look a bit more positive, which is always heartening, but for me regardless of the Bear market or Bull market, I continue to post, interact and grow.
As a result, I've seen more gains across my hive, Leo and other layer 2 holdings such as #SportsTalkSocial #VerfiyYourBrian #Proofofbrain to name a few, which is always great to see. Sow the seeds for your future now my friends and you may well reap some rewards in the long run.
The beauty of Hive is, you don't have to invest any hard earned Fiat, although I would advise that you do invest some FIAT, to accelerate your progress!!
At times I wish that I had in those early days, as it has been a long journey for me, but my account has grown up from 100% organic growth from nothing other than around 10 or 15 delegated HP to get me going. But hey, I don't have a time machine, so I am where I am, and happy to be growing.
Each month, that I do a HPUD, I like to take stock and have a look over my shoulder back into the rearview mirror to see where I've come from, so let's do that right now.
I was on 8675 hive power on January 1st. Today, I'm at 9,146 hive power one month later which is a gain of 5.4% which I'm delighted with! That is down from 6.3%, however the more I grow the harder it is going to be to grow by a large percentage each month, so for now my target is to exceed 5% growth every month for as long as possible and see where that takes me.
Hmmmmm, where would it take me, let's see where I get to by the end of 2023 if I get 5% growth every month between now and then.

Hmmmm, interesting indeed, which mean that 15,000 HP or more is a fairly achievable target for the year.
My reputation also continues to grow as well and I am now up to 71.85. That is an increase of 0.26, which is a great accomplishment given that it gets harder and harder to grow this number the higher it gets and my previous two months were 0.24 increases, so I must be growing quicker then if those numbers are to be believed, which is great to hear.
Yep, I'm back with this old chestnut again. You were waiting for it weren't you? Every month for Hive Power Up Day, I mention it.
Brace yourselves - here it comes again - remind yourself that you are an early adopter in a transformative potentially game changing industry. Blockchain is going to be huge. You are here before the masses. You are a visionary. It is only a matter of time before many more look to follow in your footsteps. Imagine investing in internet stocks in the early days, the likes of Google, Amazon or Facebook.
How many of your friends and family know what you are talking about when you mention Crypto, blockchain, leverage, dao, hive etc, I'm guessing not many, sure some might have heard of Cryptocurrency, but are they using it daily like we do here while building a holding?
Take advantage of your early adopter status. Up your game. Post only quality content. Engage with others on the eco system and watch as you flourish.
As time passes, you will start hearing more friends, families and randomers talking about Crypto currencies, asking questions about blockchain and taking their first tentative steps into the investment waters? I think more and more people will get involved in the coming years, especially the younger demographic who are already tech savvy and tuned into transformative digital technologies and integration.
Those of us with surplus time and surplus money have a real opportunity at the moment to turn that surplus into profit.

I love seeing these graphs, as it really gives you an idea of where you came from, so with that in mind, let's check out my graph for Hive Power since August 2022, it makes for mighty fine viewing from my perspective. At the start of 2022, I was at 2289 HP and now I am over 9143 HP which is serious organic growth and something I am proud of and delighted with.
I am proud to say that this is my twentieth PUD. It's a good way of showcasing the importance of powering up and staking what you have in the Crypto space in order to put your earnings to work and compound with even more earnings.
Another bonus for me is that it gives me a timestamp that I can easily refer back to in order to track my growth here on the platform.

Well, I have crunched the numbers and 15,000 Hive Power is achievable from what I can see, but why not be ambitious and shoot for the stars, with that in mind I will set 20,000 Hive Power as my target for 2023, let's see how close that I can get.
