And the winner is...

20210606_120151[2289].jpg

Time is precious. Time is irreplaceable and right now my time is used up with a very busy home and work life, so I still have not gotten around to week 46 Hive Basic Income award, but I am not forgetting, don't you worry. For now though I will go through the best of week 48 and pick a winner for last week.

For the benefit of new readers, every Tuesday I pick three songs, sometimes all three from the same artist, sometimes three tunes from a particular genre, other times three songs from a certain country - you get the idea. I've always asked others to get involved and over the past few weeks, that is exactly what's happened and we now have some ThreeTune regulars which is fantastic! The ask is to basically choose three songs to share. You can sing them or hum them or just pick three from an artist you love like I do, which is what most people do each week.

Here is a link to last week's post - at the end I said that I would pick someone who shared some decent tunes and give them a share in Hive basic income courtesy of me. Once again, we had some top class entries and new songs for our collective ears, which is class.

Here is this week's as well, sure I may as well give it a shameless plug!

@ablaze/mama-mother-mum-three-tune-tuesday-week-49

Huge thanks to this week's ThreeTuneTuesday devotees cmplxty@cmplxty por500bolos@por500bolos coquicoin@coquicoin tengolotodo@tengolotodo captainquack22@captainquack22 blanchy@blanchy sagesigma@sagesigma blackdaisyft@blackdaisyft and newcomers sperosamuel15@sperosamuel15 and eylz619@eylz619 for taking time to share their tunes with our community here on Hive. That's a bumper week folks with the most Three tune tuners yet and 33 juicy songs for the community.

Hive Basic Income

Again for the benefit of new readers, are you new to Hive? Are you struggling to get support on those first posts of yours? Have you come back to Hive recently and are struggling in a similar fashion? If so, I would advise you to keep an eye out for competitions that offer you Hive Basic Income shares. These give you guaranteed upvotes from steembasicincome@steembasicincome, sbi1@sbi1, sbi2@sbi2, sbi3@sbi3, sbi4@sbi4, sbi5@sbi5, sbi6@sbi6, sbi7@sbi7, sbi8@sbi8, sbi9@sbi9 etc and the more shares that you have the higher their upvotes. Simples...

It is a win win situation too for the person sharing the shares, as the person sharing them also gets a share of HBI for each one they share with someone else - what's not to like about this model. You get rewarded for being kind to someone else, in fact it is like a microcosm of what the Hive blockchain actually is from a curation perspective too.

The Tunes

As I said above, we're weighing in with 33 tunes this week, which is class. Right so, speaking of tunes, let's get down to it.

Let's kick things of with Three tunes courtesy of everyone's favorite Wisconsinite sagesigma@sagesigma. He was thinking about the Beatles, but instead went for three random sounds from the most modern of modern music systems the Gasp MP3 player. Scratch a bit beneath the surface though and you'll see that the Beatles were on his brain. Also, get a load of this, I know this fella who thought he was from Minnesota - what a tool!

It's great to have blackdaisyft@blackdaisyft back with us again and she brings us three rocking women giving it absolute socks on the drums. A great engaging post with great tunes as usual. Check out my favorite of three further down this post.

sperosamuel15@sperosamuel15 joins us for the first time, so a big ThreeTuneTuesday welcome friend, you will find like minded cool as feck music lovers here sharing tunes, so hopefully you'll be back to share more tunes again. A nice mix of Pop songs here, which I must admit is not always a genre I tend to seek out, but I enjoyed the ones you shared here.

eylz619@eylz619 is another new poster who found out about us through Dreamport. It is great to have you joining us and hopefully you'll become a regular too. She shares three great Karaoke sons with us this week. Man, it's a long time since I did Karaoke/emptied a bar in record time!

blanchy@blanchy dips into the well of favorite bands again this week, and although he was not always a fan, like a fine red wine, the Smiths grew on him and are now among his favorite of all time.

Where could tengolotodo@tengolotodo go after those great traditional Scottish songs from last week. He hits us up with three tunes on the theme of holidays this week - I especially enjoyed Echo Beach from Martha and the Muffins. Haven't heard it before? Keep scrolling down.

cmplxty@cmplxty usually mixes it up with three tunes from different artists, but this week he is worshipping at the table of Florence and her jazzy machine for all three. Her voice is unbelievable and that first song is new to me and I really liked it - nice one man.

por500bolos@por500bolos is a wordsmith and he puts it better than I ever could "my participation in this contest on Tuesdays has always been with the intention and the illusion of cheering you up. To uplift your mood. And in the process hijack your soul, spirit, heart, and state of mind. Liquifying and blending them all together to produce through my musical alchemy a mesmerizingly light, weightless and volatile mix of solid, liquid and gaseous elements that allows you to float faster with me through the universe without friction or air resistance until we reach our destination of the day." He shares some great songs again this week, but FYI there is some nudity, so if you are under 18 or easily offended skip his song below, but I must say it's a great tune.

coquicoin@coquicoin brings us three tunes and one of them is from legendary Frenchman Manu Chao. My sister introduced me to him years ago when she returned from her travels overseas. She brings us two other tunes worth checking out too, so swing by her page for a little listen

captainquack22@captainquack22 hits us up with three absolute belters from BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE which I thought were class, oh and it was his birthday last week, so don't forget to wish him a happy birthday if you have not done so already.

Right, grab your headphones - Here is a flavour of this week's tunes.

Spiritualized - Do It All Over Again from sagesigma@sagesigma

Nikki Glaspie - UK Drum Show 2019 from blackdaisyft@blackdaisyft

6LACK ft T.Pain - One Way from sperosamuel15@sperosamuel15

Carpenters - Rainy days and Mondays from eylz619@eylz619

The Smiths - Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want from blanchy@blanchy

Martha and the Muffins - Echo Beach from tengolotodo@tengolotodo

Florence + The Machine - King from cmplxty@cmplxty

The Pretty Reckless - My Medicine from por500bolos@por500bolos

Manu Chao - Me Gustas Tu from coquicoin@coquicoin

Bullet For My Valentine - Hearts Burst Into Fire from captainquack22@captainquack22

Yep, I'll say it again, hard is anything to pick out a winner out if those 30+ songs and posts, some absolute belters this week, honourable mention to coquicoin@coquicoin for Manu Chao, but this week is Quack's! Well done captainquack22@captainquack22 and thanks for the banging tunes and guitar riffs.

Proof

10% of the $2.29 payout is $0.229, and I could round it up to 0.5 Hive Basic Income, but feck that, this deserves the full 1 share and sure it Quack's birthday too!
