And the winner is....

TTT? What? Is that like a rally or something or maybe an Audi car? Nope, it's ThreeTuneTuesday. Still confused?

Here's a quick update for all the newbies. Every Tuesday I pick three songs, sometimes all three from the same artist, sometimes three tunes from a particular genre, other times three songs from a certain country - you get the idea. I've always asked others to get involved and over the past few weeks, that is exactly what's happened and we now have some ThreeTune regulars which is only mighty!

Here is a link to last week's post - at the end I said that I would pick someone who shared some decent tunes and give them a share in Hive basic income courtesy of me. Once again, we had some top class entries and new songs for our collective ears, which is class.

Here is this week's as well, sure I may as well give it a shamless plug!

Thanks to the usual suspects blanchy@blanchy, blackdaisyft@blackdaisyft, sagesigma@sagesigma, cmplxty@cmplxty and celticheartbeat@celticheartbeat for having a go at ThreeTuneTuesday #36 and sharing really enjoyable posts, insights and tunes. By getting more people involved like yourselves, we are increasing the reach here and we are all learning about sweet new tunes and artists, which was the idea here and hopefully, we can all support each others offerings too by looking at #ttt and #threetunetuesday tags.

Hive Basic Income

Win.jpg

Again for the benefit of new readers, are you new to Hive? Are you struggling to get support on those first posts of yours? Have you come back to Hive recently and are struggling in a similar fashion? If so, I would advise you to keep an eye out for competitions that offer you Hive Basic Income shares. These give you guaranteed upvotes from steembasicincome@steembasicincome, sbi1@sbi1, sbi2@sbi2, sbi3@sbi3, sbi4@sbi4, sbi5@sbi5, sbi6@sbi6, sbi7@sbi7, sbi8@sbi8, sbi9@sbi9 etc and the more shares that you have the higher their upvotes. Simples...

It is a win win situation too for the person sharing the shares, as the person sharing them also gets a share of HBI for each one they share with someone else - what's not to like about this model. You get rewarded for being kind to someone else, in fact it is like a microcosm of what the Hive blockchain actually is from a curation perspective too.

The Tunes

I know I say this most weeks, but once again some proper belters of tunes being shared, some I knew and some were new.

The recommendations this week were top class once again. blackdaisyft@blackdaisyft never disappoints and often shares some introspection with her choices and they are almost always new toe which is cool, this week her band of choice was Caixa de Pandora (Pandora's Box in English). They are also Portuguese and the trio is made up of Rui Filipe, Cindy Gonçalves and Sandra Martins. They don't depend on lyrics but rather their songs here are instrumental. I'd recommend trying blackdaisyft@blackdaisyft's breathing exercises while listening and it can be tried on other songs, it is a really good way to connect with a song - the lyrics if they're present and all the instruments.

It was great to have sagesigma@sagesigma joining us again, a man who is cleary passionate about his music and knowledgeable as well. He's a great man to dig up a song from an artist you know, but a song you don't know. He pulled it off with two of the tunes again this week with quality tunes from New Order, The Beatles and Yo Lo Tengo, each one well worth a listen and a playlist addition. After spoiling us with a trio of Traditional Irish/Scottish/English folk songs last week, celticheartbeat@celticheartbeat is back with another three tunes where he shares links to the tunes and also plays and sings them himself. This is what I love about ThreeTuneTuesday, without it I would never have heard these tunes and I really liked two of them in particular. celticheartbeat@celticheartbeat will be braving the streets of Glasgow soon doing some busking, so wish him luck.

No better man than cmplxty@cmplxty for a bit of genre hopping. His diall has landed on electronic and chillstep this week and I really like what I hear. His three choosen tunes are all songs that are new to me too which was an added bonus. You should go check them out. The last but not least, we have blanchy@blanchy who was very close to top of the class last week with an Alt-J inspired post and this week's post is every bit as good where he weaves a narrative about his love for Irish virtuoso guitarist Rory Gallagher. Sadly missed by fans the world over and an influence on many of todays best guitarists, Rory rocked his way through life until his untimely death in 1995. Rory inspired blanchy@blanchy himself to start playing the guitar, so he holds a special place. For the great back story and impressive clips of Rory at full tilt, this week's winner is blanchy@blanchy. Thanks again everyone for getting involved.

Here is a flavour of this week's picks.

Rory Gallagher - Full 30 minute set from blanchy@blanchy

Carbon Based Lifeforms - Supersede from cmplxty@cmplxty

Caixa de Pandora - Solstício de Inverno from blackdaisyft@blackdaisyft

New Order - Leave Me Alone sagesigma@sagesigma

CelticHeartBeat - "Blue Eye's Dancing - Rats Get Fat - The Birmingham Mill." from celticheartbeat@celticheartbeat
