Playing Good Golf

Golf is a tough sport, so any time I beat my handicap, I'm always happy. I've managed that feat now in my last three Sunday competitions. I have gotten to 33 stableford points and 34 stableford points in 16 hole competitions and got to 28 stableford points today in a 13 hole competition.

None were good enough to make it into the prizes unfortunately, but there is definitely a good level of consistency appearing in my rounds which is very promising and I feel a win or top three finish is on the horizon if I can keep playing this well tee to green.

The putting is where I am losing a lot of shots and three putts are appearing on my card, which are never good and there has also been a shortage of birdies, even though I've given myself some fantastic opportunities.

Rainbows and Fairways

Something that I absolutely love about Golf is that even when the golf isn't going well, there are other things of beauty to appreciate such as rainbows and mushrooms.

Here are a few photos I captured during some recent rounds.

Golf on the telly

I watched a great 2022 season in review show just now on sky sports which looked back on the 2022 PGA season and it was great to watch all of that great golf and I can't wait to get back out on the Fairways next Sunday to see if I can shoot a good score.
