HBD or Power Up?

I had a bit of a battle of wills with myself recently around whether to leave my saved HBD compounding at 20% or if to withdraw it and Power up. When I saw Hive's price slump and as a result HBD, I started thinking about withdrawing my 600HBD and powering it up.

You can seek advise on these things and go with the concensus or you can go with your gut and in this instance I went with my gut. In many areas of life, it is a good way to behave and react and for me it generally works out.

I slept on it a few weeks ago and pulled the trigger and my strategy was as follows: leave 100HBD where it was in HBD savings and remove 500 HBD. I bought 500Hive with it at a good rate and have left 250HBD until I get a 0.45 trade which is close to completing and I believe will complete this week.

On HPUD day on Wednesday I will Power up the 500 + approx 250 more I have accumulated. Soon after I will have 550 more Hive coming available and I plan to keep 500Hive until we get back to equity where 1 Hive = 1 HBD. I can see that happening this year in late 2022, but even if it's 2023, I will be patient and just wait.

Once we hit parity, I can see a run where Hive > HBD and when that happens I will startnto bank HBD again, but for now I'm a man on a mission trying to first surpass 5000HP which will happen on Wednesday and then start aiming for 10,000HP and why not!? 5000HP would have felt like a pipe dream 18 months ago, but here I am with 100% organic growth.

Growth is paramount right now and we have a rare chance to make it count when we can grow our stake by turning up every day. What about you? What's your strategy? Are you saving HBD or Powering up to beat the band? Or maybe you're powering down? Tell me all about it in the comments below and have yourself a fantastic finish to your weekend.

The main thing is to keep on turning up every day and post if possible and at a minimum comment and engage. That's the key to success around here, and it's no coincidence that the most successful people here are often the most engaging and the ones who post quality day in day out. I've been doing my best to take a leaf out of their book and post every day of the week.

Peace Out and thanks for reading
