Tick tock, tick tock, well would ya look at that! Yep, it's Tuesday folks and for our merry little band of ladies and lads, that means sharing tunes, good vibes and engagement. As another week disappears in the rearview mirror, we have loads of engagement and tunes flying around on Three Tune Tuesday and sure isn't that bloody fantastic! I hope you're ready to share three tunes from wherever you find yourself on this magical spinning lump of rock that we all call home and sure you might even sing us a tune if we're lucky?

Tuesday is here again, which can only mean one thing, another three tunes from me and hopefully from lots of you good folks too. How are all of you music loving rockers from Rusheen Bay to Reno doing on this fine evening? Sure, isn't great to be alive all the same. Yet another week this week, where we have gone above 30 unique Three Tune Tuesday posts and man oh man, that brings a serious smile to my face!

It's a time of the week when lovers of music, tunes and craic bring their blockchain community three of their finest and brightest tunes to share and celebrate, so let's roll on and let the tunes flow free.

This is my 74th week waxing lyrical for Three Tune Tuesday and we are still going strong. It started off with me just sharing tunes into what seemed like a void, but little by little others joined and now I'm thrilled that we have a little corner of Hive where we come and share our tunes every Tuesday, and long may it continue. I almost stopped posting the songs and thoughts a few times, but I stuck with it and now interestingly it is my favorite thing about Hive. I love music and now I have a network of folks around the world who love music too and we share our tunes and catch up with each others tunes and discuss them each week. We get Pop, Metal, Rock, Gospel, Folk, Jazz, Rap, Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop, Reggae, Bippy bappidy Flange Hop. Ok I made that one up, but you get the idea, we are all learning about new artists, bands, back stories and sure isn't it just mighty!

Something that excites me the most is that we even get musicians sharing their covers of famous songs and even their own songs from time to time here on #ThreeTuneTuesday, which is a real favorite of mine, as that takes talent, time and dedication.

We are adding New posters and retaining our core of regulars here on #TTT which is fantastic. Let's keep it growing. Weekly, I try to find three or five hours to listen to all of the fantastic music shared from like-minded folk from around the globe and interact with their posts. This has led me to genres I don't know well and to some amazing new bands and artists and has even introduced me to some musical instruments I did not know existed. It also allows me to upvote smaller accounts and find some really interesting people from all over the world, which is heartening.

I hope you enjoy the tunes - be sure to tell me all about it in the comments below and above all else, please enjoy the rest of your Tuesday - smile at a stranger, rub a dog, be a nice human to someone who was not expecting it - peace out.

For those unfamiliar with TTT or Three Tune Tuesday....

The jist is as follows

Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tag that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.

Here are my week seventy four recommendations for Three Tune Tuesday

** Drum roll please.....**

Arcade Fire - The Suburbs

The words of the famous Philospher Iambout Tomakethisupius, holy shitballs Batman! How in the name of all that is well have we not had a Three Tune Tuesday from me yet that waxes lyrical about one of my favourite bands of all time? All the way back in week four I included one of their songs along with songs from The Flaming Lips and David Keenan, but I never gave them a full Three Tune Tuesday all to themselves and to make up for this transgression, I am going to dedicate the next 2 weeks to them, as to try and pick just three songs is just too damn hard!

The mad thing is that amongst our music loving and appreciating regular Three Tune Tuesday advocates and occasionals, I can't recall an Arcade Fire post either - do correct me if I am wrong. That has happned twice before, when I was wrong, but on one occasion of the two it turned out I was right Just kidding!!

Ok, let's get down to business - here is my first recommendation from Arcade Fire. This is the title track from their fantastic 2010 album. The album the following awards - Album of the Year at the 2011 Grammy Awards, Best International Album at the 2011 BRIT Awards, Album of the Year at the 2011 Juno Awards, and the 2011 Polaris Music Prize for best Canadian album - have a listen and let me know if you think it is justified based on this song?

Arcade Fire - Creature Comfort

This one comes from their album Everything Now.

The critics did not receive this, their fifth studio album as well as the four that preceded it, but although it took a few listens for me to get it, it is another great album for me and tells a story. The reason was likely because it was a bit of a departure from Arcade Fire's usual sound, which for me was brave and shows that they wanted to grow and develop their sound, we don't want every album to sound the same do we? Everything Now had more synth-pop and electronic undertones and for me it worked. For me this song was one of the strongest on the album and it takes a good swipe at commercialism and the materialism that has spread across the globe like a virus and clouds people's perceptions of what life is really about. The album encapsulates the existential exhaustion that results from our always on society and our constant thirst for technology and media. The line "stand in the mirror and wait for the feedback" sums it up well, which is a double meaning for me. It is about people's insecurities around body shape, but also about social media where people post things and wait for others to give their status a like or their post an upvote like here on Hive.

Have a listen and let me know what you think?

Arcade Fire - Wake Up

I am lucky enough to have seen Arcade Fire twice live and I cannot wait to see them again, because they are really a sight to behold live, the Canadians really know how to make great music don't they? Arcade Fire consists of husband and wife Win Butler and R茅gine Chassagne, alongside Richard Reed Parry, Tim Kingsbury and Jeremy Gara. This song is my favourite one to hear live at their gigs as the whole crowd sings it back to them and their is just an energy to it that has to be experienced to be fully appreciated, so if you get the chance, check them out. Check out the second version below from Glastonbury to get a feel for the live version. See you next week for three more from Arcade Fire as promised.

Check out this for the best ever cover of an unreal song, I found this on Youtube just now while searching for a version of Wake Up, so so cool, I love it, music is just magic folks, just magic, never fails to put a smile on my face.
