It was low tide that morning in Daanbantayan, Cebu. I walked about 150 feet away from the shore into the sea to look for sea creatures. There was this dog who very calm lounging in the middle of a sand bar. When I walked towards him, he didn't even budge. He just looked me. I took his pictures and he didn't mind at all.
There were some other people nearby. Most were looking for sea shells and food.
At about 20 minutes of exploring, I went back to where the dog was. He was still there, almost smiling. I went on my way to return to the beach house and decided to have a final glance at the dog.
There he was! He was going back to shore. But I saw another figure. It was then that I realized, he was actually waiting for his human who was out in the sea searching for food.
Oh doggy, you truly are so loyal! Dogs are indeed a man's best friend.
