I agree with you on some points and think a few self votes and vote trades are fine.

I didn't know they have such a strong opinion against any vote trading. I thought it was only excessive self voting and vote trading they don't like.

I used to delegate to ocdb but stopped around 2 months ago when they changed their system and started downvoting. I don't delegate even 1 sp to anyone now.

Last month I automatically voted for curangel and ocd daily posts. I actually voted for many curation project daily posts.

However, I stopped that Nov 1st and now I only support a couple developers and the community I am in with auto votes.

I also follow vote trails of three accounts I respect. This month those guys aren't included but I followed their trails before (upvotes only, I will never follow downvotes trail).

I am trying to improve. I will not agree to never vote for them or their projects again, but I won't automatically vote their posts again and I don't delegate anymore at all.

I will vote for them if I find the post useful. Sometimes I read it and find good posts they share or curate. It is how I find new authors. Resteeming, too.
