Hello to all hive users 🤗❤️🙏

In this world, there are both powerful and weak people, and it has long been the case that the powerful often oppress the weak. While not everyone acts this way—many do help those less fortunate—such behavior is frequently observed today. Politics, in particular, offers numerous examples of powerful individuals suppressing those with less influence; people often exploit their status to dominate those at lower levels. You may have noticed how high-ranking officials in government offices misuse their authority; they often make subordinates handle their official tasks and sometimes even force low-level staff to attend to personal errands. I once heard of a department head who made office staff do his household chores—such as buying vegetables or driving his family to go shopping in the official vehicle. Office staff were even sent to assist whenever there was a family function at his home. Such practices are common and have existed for a long time. My uncles used to recount that when they were in school—about 30 or 40 years ago—teachers often prioritized asserting their authority over actual teaching. Corporal punishment was rampant; students were frequently beaten or subjected to punishments that would be considered illegal today. Teachers would even make students fetch vegetables, promising better grades to those who complied—a clear instance of authority being misused at that time. However, things have changed significantly these days, and such practices are less visible in government departments; yet, those individuals still misuse theory power—though the methods have changed.

In today's corporate sector, we frequently witness the misuse of power and the exploitation of vulnerable individuals. To begin with, joining a company often entails starting at a very low salary—one that is insufficient to cover even basic monthly living expenses—and one is often required to work at this rate for six months to a year. While this payment is technically labeled a "stipend" for the learning period, genuine training is rarely provided; after receiving some initial basic information, employees are largely left to learn the ropes on their own. Although the company owner collects payment for the work performed by the new recruit, the employee receives less than 5–10% of that amount—a sum that doesn't even cover the interest on the revenue the owner generates from that employee's labor. Some companies lack structured working hours; while employees must arrive punctually in the morning, there is no fixed time for leaving in the evening, nor is there any compensation for the extra hours worked. There is no one to speak up against this, nor is there any government body looking out for the employees' welfare. Just consider the extent of this exploitation and the abuse of power involved. Furthermore, while one might not expect much productivity from a new recruit initially, the workload they cannot handle falls upon the existing staff; yet, do these employees receive extra pay for the additional burden? Absolutely not. The new employee's tasks are simply shifted to others, forcing them to stay late and shoulder the extra work without any additional compensation or recognition.
This situation illustrates the extent to which an individual can abuse their power. While an employer has the authority to hire staff, actions of this nature represent a gross misuse of that power; not only are such practices legally questionable, but there is also a lack of specific legislation to address them—or, where laws do exist, there is no one to enforce them. Even if an employee raises their voice, it rarely yields results; challenging the company often leads to no action against the firm, while the employee simply loses their job. It is their sheer lack of options that forces these vulnerable individuals to endure such oppression and exploitation; otherwise, no one would willingly choose to work in such an environment or tolerate such suffering.
It is crucial to bring these issues under control, as enduring such situations takes a severe toll on a person's mental health. Poor mental health can lead to various repercussions, such as strained family relationships and difficulties in social interactions. The government needs to enforce stricter regulations, implement rigorous oversight across all relevant departments, and toughen the laws; only then can these issues be effectively managed. If the government remains negligent and continues to overlook these matters, the problems could escalate, eventually reaching a point where they become impossible to control.
