Many people likely used wired headphones, which were quite popular in the past. Nowadays, however, TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earphones—which require no cables—have become extremely popular, and wired headphones are rarely seen anymore. One major headache associated with using wired headphones was that if you simply folded and put them away, they would get tangled, making it very difficult to unravel them. While those types of headphones were common long ago, cables that didn't tangle were eventually introduced.
These days, there are so many payment options available for online shopping; for instance, you can buy something now and pay for it later, or—if you have a card—convert the cost into monthly installments. However, things were quite different years ago; back then, people would save money for months to buy something they really wanted, purchasing the item only after they had accumulated the full amount. I bought my second phone in exactly this manner—though online shopping didn't exist at the time, so I purchased it from a physical store, with some financial help from my family members.
Friends, if you work in the corporate sector, you have likely seen how much of a struggle it is to get a salary hike. When the time comes for a raise, they often start making all sorts of excuses. No matter how good the company is, if you simply ask nicely for a salary hike, they will never grant it; they will just keep putting you off.
The next meme also relates to the corporate sector. Friends, it often happens that you are assigned a project with a tight deadline, and you feel like you won't be able to complete it. In such a situation, you have two options: the first is to ask for a deadline extension, and the second is to work on the project all night and submit it by the deadline.
Friends, it often happens that you are out somewhere, or something at home—like a machine or an electronic device—breaks down. Many people claim they can fix it without having proper knowledge of the equipment; however, once they open it up and realize they don't actually understand how it works, they resort to guesswork. Instead of fixing the problem, they often end up making it worse.
