Hello to all hive users 馃鉂わ笍馃檹
Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your life馃檪
Every individual desires progress in life; everyone wants today to be better than yesterday, and driven by this hope, they work hard to secure a better future. In this world, everyone is engaged in a race to improve themselves; even someone who has already surpassed millions or billions of others will still aspire to become even better. The advanced state of technology today is a result of the fact that the human mind is never content to remain static鈥攊t constantly seeks to improve upon the past. This drive is precisely why some people are so innovative and continuously strive for self-improvement. There is nothing wrong with wanting to improve oneself; indeed, it is inherent to human nature. Had humans not possessed this trait, we might well have remained stuck in the Stone Age, unable to progress any further.

The first factor is curiosity鈥攖he desire to know something or to wonder, "What would happen if...?" Even within a single activity, various questions arise: "What if this happens?" or "What if I do it that way?" When early humans discovered fire by rubbing two stones together, the spark of curiosity must have arisen in their minds first: "What happens if I strike these stones together like this? Or like that?" Many such questions likely crossed their minds, and it was this very curiosity that led to the invention of fire. The second factor is necessity. You may have noticed the wide range of innovative inventions emerging in society today; these are created in response to human needs. Consider the vast difference between products of the past and those available now鈥攖ake the mobile phone, for instance. There is a huge contrast between the mobile phones of yesteryear and the ones we use today, as well as a massive difference in the capabilities they offer. All these advancements were driven by human needs and requirements. Originally, the telephone was invented simply to enable conversation with someone at a distance. However, as human needs evolved, people began to wonder: "What if we could communicate without wires?" or "Wouldn't it be better to have a compact version of the telephone that fits in a pocket and can be carried anywhere?" Countless inventions and years of hard work paved the way for the modern smartphones we use today.
All these endeavors involve significant struggle, as achieving so much without it is extremely difficult. Alongside struggle, there are other factors driving human modernization and progress: namely, a sense of dissatisfaction and the presence of challenges. While it is often said that a contented person is a happy one, if someone were to simply settle for what they have鈥攂elieving it is sufficient and that no further action is needed鈥攈ow could they possibly move forward in life? Consider the invention of the mobile phone: once people could communicate with anyone from anywhere, had they simply been content鈥攖hinking, "Nothing more needs to be done; life is easy enough now"鈥攚e certainly wouldn't be able to do all the things we do with mobile phones today. Countless other inventions have followed a similar path; look at televisions, for instance鈥攖hey used to be incredibly bulky, whereas today鈥檚 models are remarkably thin and lightweight. This illustrates the difference between contentment and a state of dissatisfaction. While inner turmoil is detrimental to your physical well-being, a certain level of dissatisfaction regarding specific matters is beneficial, as it drives you to improve upon your past self. Another key factor is competition. Many people do not initiate tasks on their own, but upon seeing others engaged in an activity, they feel a sudden urge to do the same and throw themselves into the pursuit. You may have observed children in your neighborhood who do not study of their own accord but feel motivated to do so when they see their peers studying; it is this very spirit of competition that enables an individual to surpass others.
There are many facets behind the development of technology. It begins with curiosity, followed by needs and the struggle to meet them, and then competition; only then does the discovery of an excellent technology become possible.
