Hello friends of steemit.
I wanted to share with you a bit of the New Year's Eve experience that I shared with my family and acquaintances.
Generally, the end of the year dates are spent in our house. A few years ago, when my brother was still living in Venezuela, we met and shared together as a family. Then, due to the escalating crisis, he decided to start a new life in Montreal, Canada. For which we spent 1 or 2 years being alone my mom and I for the December festivities.
Now, things changed. With this one, two years we go to my girlfriend's house @ wendydl1993 who is also part of the Steemit community. Their family is numerous and they have the tradition of meeting at the Manoa de San Felix Urbanization to receive Christmas and New Year. Therefore, we decided to go, I went with my mother who is my only direct relative in Venezuela.
I must sincerely say that it was Great. Despite the economic situation in Venezuela, we try to maintain an atmosphere of joy and union in the home. We enjoy, we start with dinner and then wait at 00:00 and give hugs.
For the same situation, there are many traditions to call common good luck that we could not do, such as the 12 grapes for example. But that was not limiting at the time of making a firm intention and faith to materialize the goals that we set.
One of the characteristics of the Venezuelan, is to take the odds in the best way, always try to take a joy out of the darkness and at this time, thank God it could be like that.
Despite the distance of my brother and some friends, we were still watching each other, making the holidays in any way a family occasion. So they kept us updated on their night in Canada.
I hope you liked the summary of the night.
See you next time.
