I had been checking out the Adorama Youtube channel for a bit, when I saw this chapter about using a light that produced beautiful contours on a model and I really liked the simplicity of the setup and the amazing results. Although I lacked all the technical elements used in that class, I took my flash, a softbox and a 42" diffuser and placed it behind my beloved model Lili. Due to the lack of power of my equipment, I was not able to achieve the same results that Gavin Hoey achieved in his class, so I removed the black background and kept only the diffuser and the flash behind it firing at full power, a bit far away for to spread the light. Lili behaved as always, a professional and charming model.
Había estado revisando un poco el canal Adorama en Youtube, cuando vi este capítulo acerca del uso de una luz que producía hermosos contornos en una modelo y me gustó mucho la sencillez del montaje y los asombrosos resultados. Aunque carecía de todos los elementos técnicos usados en esa clase, llevé mi flash, un softbox y un difusor de 42" y lo coloqué detrás de mi querida modelo Lili. Debido a la falta de potencia de mi equipamiento, no pude lograr los mismos resultados que logró Gavin Hoey en su clase, por eso eliminé el fondo negro y me quedé solamente con el difusor y el flash detrás disparando a toda potencia, un tanto alejado para poder esparcir la luz. Lili se comportó como siempre, toda una profesional y encantadora modelo.
