It was 2019, cruise ships entered and left Havana quite frequently. I had received a set of ND filters for taking long exposures and I decided to try the most powerful of that set, the ND1000, which has the ability to block light up to 10 stops (ten stops of light, total darkness through the lens ) and what better opportunity than to capture the MSC Armonia on its routine Saturday midday arrivals to the port of Havana. Here is a sequence of its entrance, where I was able to take several long exposures of 10s, at f20 and 100 ISO under the harsh Caribbean sun.

Me hab铆a llegado un set de filtros ND para hacer exposiciones largas y decid铆 probar el m谩s poderoso de ese set, el ND1000, que tiene la capacidad de bloquear la luz hasta 10 stops (diez pasos de luz, oscuridad total a trav茅s del lente) y qu茅 mejor oportunidad que captar al MSC Armonia en sus llegadas rutinarias de los s谩bados al mediod铆a al puerto de La Habana. Aqu铆 una secuencia de su entrada, donde pude hacer un varias exposiciones largas de 10s, a f20 y 100 ISO bajo el inclemente sol caribe帽o.
