Generally good muses advise me when I listen to music, mostly melancholic melodies. I was listening to some tracks from the beginnings of the German group Enigma (1990-2016) and I decided to do some digital double exposure on one of the photos I took of my dear Lili against a backlit, very white screen. The general feeling of these photos is one of introspection, of doubts, of longing. I decided to place in it a photo I had taken of a winding path through the forest that I once took. It is difficult to decide which parts to reveal and which to hide, which curves to synchronize with my model, whether I leave her face completely visible. In short, many variables, we are all a universe in our unique individuality.
Generalmente las musas buenas me aconsejan cuando escucho música, mayormente las melodías melancólicas. Estaba escuchando algunas pistas de los comienzos del grupo alemán Enigma (1990-2016) y me dio por hacer alguna doble exposición digital sobre una de las fotos que le hice a Lili contra una pantalla retroiluminada, muy blanca. El sentimiento general de estas fotos son como de introspección, de dudas, de añoranza. Decidí colocar en ella una foto hecha por mí de un camino tortuoso por el bosque que una vez hice. Difícil es decidir qué partes revelar y cuáles ocultar, qué curvas sincronizar con mi modelo, si le dejo la cara completamente visible, en fin, muchas variables. Todos somos un universo en nuestra singular individualidad.
