When you receive a gift
You treat it with all utmost care
Not because of the gift itself
But because of the intention of the giver
Gifts could be expected or unexpected
But do you place a value on what's given?
Do you consider its utmost importance?
Do you realize the giver could either have suppressed the thought of acquiring it in your name
Or rather give the gift pack to someone else...
You should treat the gift with utmost caution even if you do not see the value yet
Capitalize on the intention of the giver and make it worthwhile
However, often times, we give the gift away
Away to the hands of those in dire need of it
Whose fault?
Yours or the giver?
Nah!
It's all been predestined
That joy and excitement that ran down your spine when the gift was handed to you
And that 'unneeded' or rather compelling feeling about the gift when you give it away
The point is - it served purpose while it was with you
Treat all gifts with utmost care Steemians...
