Hi follow hivers
It’s a brand-new day and a new contest organized by hive Ghana, this contest helps us talk about the dApps we like and give our reason for using particular dApps. For me as a newbie am used to the ecency dApps but I have also heard more about Peakd, Waivio, and more. Am familiar with Ecency for now.

Esteem now Ecency was founded in 2016 by Feruz Muradov. Esteem was created to help content creators explore, engaged, and interact with each other to make work easy. It’s a unique website that you can earn various digital tokens and be part of a community at the same time. Ecency is powered by HIVE and a company that makes various blockchain-based platforms.
These are some of the features of Ecency which make me feel comfortable when using it.
Ecency gives rewards for posting and commenting, you can be rewarded at least 15 ecency point when you make a post. When you make a comment, you can get 5 ecency point and also get votes for posting or commenting. Other engagements activities like reblogging others have the point you get. It doesn’t stop there, logging into Hive through ecency gives you 10 points. These points decrease as you do it in a day. In all, it's still great.
You can use this ecency points to boost your account. These points are used to promote or boost posts. For example, when you make a post, you use these points to give you upvotes on them. This is used as encouragement to newbies to show their work is recognized. It's only in ecency that I see this and I love that about it too.
