The following pictures of tropical mushrooms are my next entry for the daily monomad challenge. This typical mushroom was captured days ago in the local forest. I happened to notice these mushrooms on rotten trunk, I thought they were already died but when I came closer, they stood strong against the dried season. I believe this typical mushroom comes from Ganoderma, in the genus of polypore fungi in the family Ganodermataceae that mostly live in many tropical regions.
