Hello guys. From my own point of view(a pleb in the crypto space), the genesis of Hive started in February 2020 when I saw a Tweet from the belligerent CEO of Tron-Justin Sun on Twitter, hammering on the fact that he and the Tron team are interested in acquiring Steemit.inc. There was uncertainty in the air, many were confused of where we gonna be and what would happen in the future. I could remember myself reading many posts talking on a positive future for STEEM, I was convinced with some of the points raised by these posts (I think I even told some to @whatsup on a Voice chat on Discord 🤔). On the other hand, a hand full of posts were out there lampooning Justin Sun at the get go( posts from @lordbutterfly and @bernie 😂). To cut the story short, the confusion was topnotch, even some witnesses couldn't get a clear direction until some details stepped into the light. Turns out that Justin just wanted to make quick money without even understanding what he's getting himself in to. The potential and the community as a whole. @blocktrades and co championed the idea 💡 of a fork and everyone(including witnesses) came together to make it happen.

Exchanges getting involved

In order not to lampoon any exchange even though they deserve it 😕😏, I'll just make this a short one and thank those who embraced Hive at the earliest stage of birth. The likes of @ionomy came in as early as a week after the hard fork, which is an amazing feat by @blocktrades and the marketing team. Thanks guys.

Hive's price performance so far

For the last 24 months, i think Hive has proven the competence of the developers(even though there's been some lapses) and the togetherness of the commumity... Or maybe the BTC bull run affected it as it did across the board 😂. But a $3.414 price from $0.097 is a remarkable feat. With a supply less than 400m, i think there's still more room to the upside for hive. I wouldn't be surprise if hive sits at $14 in the next bull market. My friend @enforcer48 thinks we gonna spiral down more from here but I don't think so. He might be right but i think we're at support $0.7-0.9 and now is a good time to DCA for those who wanna buy. I'm buying here until I see 0.5 😉. Note: I'm not a financial advisor. Invest what you can afford to lose.

I just wanna say Happy birthday to #Hive. We've come this far with lots of blood, sweat and tears. Looking back, I could remember how this space was on this day 2yrs ago 😂. The future is gonna be super great no doubt and I'm excited about the development of our community, the price performance and the possibility of hitting 2 figures hive price in the next bull market . 🎉 🎉 🎉.
