You are right, Christmas is no longer like before. Probably it's because we no longer do some of the fun things we used to do like the caroling you've mentioned as we grow older. But still, I think Christmas hasn't lost its magic. It's still there, no it's always there. Love remains and so does the spirit of Christmas. It's just a matter of how we perceive things after all.
