As a part-time crypto investor I came across STEEM. I bought STEEM coins in November 2017 and then signed up for an account at steemit.
What a brilliant concept!! Getting awarded for content in currency. This concept just makes senses. It is what facebook, instagram, reddit, linkedin etc all are missing!
I am not a writer but this concept triggers me to write content. It clears my mind, I enjoy it, it makes me curious whether I got awarded with votes and $.
The concept will grow huge. At the moment of writing the market cap of STEEM is $840m, which can easily grow 600x in my opinion. The market cap of Facebook is $514 billion! Steemit has all the features that Facebook has and more. It can replace Facebook.
If you want to analyze this from a more conservative approach, Reddit has a valuation of $1.8 billion in 2017 according to their CEO. Even if STEEM replaces reddit it should multiply by 2.5x
