For example, you can use 3 cores(of a quad core device) to mine leaving one to power other functions like watching Netflix. On top of CPU mining, you can add GPU mining for more mining power. Most of us know a GPU by it’s more common name; graphics card. If you have a higher end computer or have added extra graphics you can get more hash power out of your everyday computer or laptop.
Minergate is great because it provides plenty of options to get started in mining. Unless you have the high-end equipment or modifications it’s best to stick to the cheaper coins to start. The website is easy to navigate and will show every detail of your operation. To translate what you mine to your local currency you’ll have to take your earnings to an exchange.
