I don't know if this fits here but since we are a part of nature I think it does. Driving around overpasses and roundabouts you never really get the true scale of these concrete monoliths that us humans design and build today. Not just overpasses I guess but other buildings in general. It is obsoletely staggering, from the great pyramids to the CN tower and now the monster Burj Khalifa scarping the stratosphere of our skies. Will there ever be a point in the future when we decided to scale down?? A degrowth society so to speak? One where we live closer to nature as our ancestors once did, appreciating the smaller things in life rather than focusing on the next big technological advancement. Just some thoughts!
