What happens when a hydro dam goes out of commission? You turn it into a provincial heritage site of course! This is one of my favourite places in Manitoba that I have visited due to its beauty and ingenues way of recycling an old power station. If you are ever in Manitoba I highly recommend checking heritage site out.
I love the mix of natural rock along with the old cement spires!
The old retaining wall reminds me of something out of Game of Thrones. This was where the generator units would have been located.
