El puente de las Américas/Bridge of the Americas

Hola amigos de Hive un saludo cordial, hoy les comparto unas imágenes del primer puente construido en Panama, se trata del Puente de las Américas, un paso sobre la entrada del océano pacifico del Canal de Panama y que desde su apertura ha sido uno de los pasos que comunica la ciudad capital con el resto del pais.

Hello friends of Hive, cordial greetings, today I share with you some images of the first bridge built in Panama, it is the Bridge of the Americas, a passage over the entrance to the Pacific Ocean of the Panama Canal and which since its opening has been one of the steps that connect the capital city with the rest of the country.

Originalmente había qué utilizar un ferri para hacer el cruce pero como estaba situado en la entrada del Canal interferir con el trafico marítimo, había qué buscarle una solución, en aquel entonces el Canal era administrado por los Estados Unidos y decidieron construir un paso elevado y fue en el año 1962 qué fue inaugurado dicho puente el cual fue elaborado con acero y el nombre colocado fue porque era el único paso qué unía el hemisferio norte del sur, hoy en día existen dos puentes más pero, este primero es el más iconico.
