Panaginip
Hindi ko inaasan
Na muli ako'y iyong susulyapan.
Sa bawat segundo ng iyong presensya,
Ang mga mata ko'y tila natutulala.
Sa iyong maamong mukha,
Ang puso ko ay kumakalma.
Mga mata ko'y nangungusap,
Na sana huwag nang lumayo pa.
Ikaw lang ang tanging hinahanap,
Sa tuwing ikaw ay dadalaw,
Ang diwa ko ay di makapaniwala
Sa panaginip na dala ng tadhana
Sa bawat sandaling ikaw lang ang kilala
Sa bawat pagtatagpo ng ating mga mata
Sana ako rin ang iyong nakikita.
English Translation
The Dream
I did not expect
To see you again.
In every second of your presence,
My eyes seemed to be so still.
With your gentle face,
My heart calms down.
My eyes are speaking,
That you would not go far away again.
You are just the only one I have been waiting for,
And whenever you come to me,
It just felt like I'm in a fantasy
In a dream brought by fate
In that dream, in every moment,you are the only person I know
At every time our eyes meet,
I hope that you see me too.
So, this is my first poem this year.
A poem about a dream and a person who always visits me in my dream.
