MONOMAD : Soft toys // Peluches
Do you like soft toys? They come in various sizes, shapes, materials, forms and colors. The uses are different, such as for decoration. Others like them for collection. And there are also those who have them with great sentimental value. What aspects do they have? All images are mine, using my Canon EOS Rebel t3i camera.

Sometimes, when the rooms are tidy, it seems that they are the real residents of the place. Many even try to give them context, to give them their own special space in the room. At the same time, perhaps because of their materials, because of how soft they look, they give the impression that they are very comfortable, wherever they are placed.
A veces, cuando las habitaciones están ordenadas, parece que ellos fueran los verdaderos residentes del lugar. Incluos muchos tratan de darle contexto, darle su espacio especial en la habitación. Al mismo tiempo, quizás por sus materiales, por los suavecito que se ven, dan la impresión de que están muy cómodos, sea donde sea que lo ubiquen.
Some are usually accepted for some peculiar feature, even if it is not a favorite. For example, 👆 I don't find this doll very appealing. I understand that the representation of her arms and hands is what holds her and she easily stays in that place. However, it seems that it's not her tender face, her abundant hair or her simple dress that have set her apart in the room: it's her legs that are special. Made of cinnamon sticks, they can perfume the place in a charming way. How original, isn't it? Score for the hanging doll!
Algunos suelen ser aceptados por alguna característica peculiar, aunque no sea uno de los favoritos. Por ejemplo, 👆 ésta muñeca no me parece que sea muy atrayente. Entiendo que la representación de sus brazos y manos es lo que la sujeta y permanece facilmente en ese lugar. Sin embargo, parece que no es por su tierna cara, su abundante cabello o su sencillo vestido que le han apartado ese lugar en la habitación: son sus piernas las que son especiales. Hechas con palos de canela pueden perfumar el lugar de forma encantadora. Qué original, ¿no es cierto? ¡Punto para la muñeca guindando!
I think that the subjectivity of the owners impregnates colors in them. Maybe when you see some of them you can feel some positive feeling, like being touched, happy, moved by the way they look. However, maybe because of the lighting of the place, the way they are placed, and other things, they could help to enhance the feelings of the owners. Have you seen how when someone feels sad and their little dog approaches them and then they hug them and feel that the little animals understand them? Some even talk to them. Well, although these souls can also perceive something of our moods, we cannot say the same about inanimate objects. However, some owners also believe they have this ability. They hug them tightly, cry or laugh with them, and often create a bond. I'm not one to judge that behavior, I'm just stating a fact. So it seems that the only way to know that would be to ask the owner why he has it in that place and how he feels about it.
Pienso que la subjetividad de los dueños impregna colores en ellos. Quizás al ver algunos puedes sentir algún sentimiento positivo, como enternecerte, alegrarte, conmoverte por el aspecto que tienen. Sin embargo, tal vez por la iluminación del lugar, la forma en que están ubicados, y otras cosas, pudieran ayudar a potenciar los sentimientos de los dueños. ¿Han visto cómo alguien cuando alguien se siente triste y se le acerca su perrito y entonces lo abrazan y sienten que los animalitos lo entienden? Algunos hasta le hablan. Bueno, aunque estas almas también pueden percibir algo de nuestros estados de ánimos, no podemos decir lo mismo de los objetos inanimados. Con todo, algunos dueños también creen que tienen esa habilidad. Los abrazan fuerte, lloran o ríen con ellos, y suelen crear un vínculo. No so quien para juzgar esa conducta, sólo establezco un hecho. Por eso parece que la única forma de saber éso sería preguntándole al dueño por qué lo tiene en ese lugar y cómo se siente con él.
Whether or not we use them in our home spaces, the most common thing is that they catch our attention when we arrive at another place where they are being used. Subjectivity will be present for both the regular inhabitant and the visitor. Sea que los usemos o no en nuestros espacios del hogar, lo más común es que nos llamen la atención cuando llegamos a otro lugar donde los estén usando. La subjetividad estará presente tanto para el habitante regular como para el visitante.
