Yahoo messenger is now officially inactive and may remain so forever. This is is coming after they announced its discontinuation very early this year.
At the moment, users can no longer use messenger or any of its other services but options for users to download their chat histories or access documents is still available on their downloader page. Many peeps saw this coming for it was only a matter of time...in a universe where other social media has triumphed its now very clear that yahoo couldnt keep up with these stiff competitions leading to their bowing out!!!
Well, it was quiet some time to be around...20 years in service is no child play but they could have strategized to avoid breakdowns such as this, very sad if you ask me.
