Recently, I created a discord for our text adventure community. Then I decided to expand it into a game creation hub [for HIVE]. I would like to invite the general HIVE community to join! https://discord.gg/QWTvN4HGVP
General
This is the general text chat. People can hang out here and talk about anything. It's also the welcome room. People who join end up here.
DLUX
Most people are aware of the #DLUX [HIVE] side chain by now. It has a native multi-sig dex, nft sets, Vr builders etc. A very dynamic project. Dlux already has a discord server, but this will be a nice secondary resource for people to share resources. I believe #DLUX will be a major hub for creating games on the HIVE blockchain. Especially with cheap #nft minting.
2D
The 2D room is for flat assets:
flash games
text adventures
2d nfts
Nfts
The Nft room is for everything related to HIVE #nfts.
Hive Voxels
Hive voxels is a project I'm working on for #dlux. It's fairly bare boned, theres no land for sale or anything; but I'm having a lot of fun building assets out of boxes like minecraft [but better looking]. This project in particular I would like to recruit more HIVE users for.
Text adventures
I created a create your own text adventure community on Peakd with a few people. created/hive-196192 We have launched two different stories: The Severely Discounted Detective Agency & Beard's Adventures in NED's Pizzeria.
D&D
I basically stole this idea from the pizza server, but I used to play dnd campaigns back in the day. We can create some maps, draw some characters, make some peakd bots etc. The sky is the limit. Bring your own beer.
Rom Hack
I have been reviewing Rom Hacks on peakd and recently have been doing research on how to actually create ROM hacks of classic retro games. If anyone wants to learn how to create video games, this could be a good starting point for you. If you always wanted to create a rom hack, I will drop great tools and links!
