You're in properties of the folder in the first image, not the executable file. To find the checkbox I mentioned, right click the "monero-wallet-gui" file shown in the second image and select properties.

Then, once you finish checking the box and closing the properties window, highlight that same file (monero-wallet-gui) and press enter.

Or you can try highlighting the "monero-wallet-gui.AppImage" and pressing enter.

If none of these work more investigation is warranted.
