Today is a big day for me and for my country, its the thirt ot March wich is day of liberation of Bulgaria from Ottoman rule.This year we mark 140 years freedom from the bondage.After nearly five centuries of Ottoman domination, in 1878 Bulgaria gained its freedom.The Russian army, assisted by Bulgarian volunteers, won numerous battles in the war between Russia and Turkey in 1877-1878. Thirt March is a national holiday.All Bulgarians celebrate this day.
