Short Introduction to ZTBL Pakistan

The Zari Tariquati Bank Limited (ZTLB) was established in Feb, 1961 under Ordinance of the Government. The Zari Tariquati Bank Limited (ZTBL) is located in Islamabad,Pakistan. It provides development aid to farming industry in Pakistan. It was also known as Agricultural Development Bank of Pakistan (ADBP).
The Bank was set up by merging the Agricultural Development Finance Corporation and Agricultural Bank of Pakistan. The Paid-up capital of the bank amount Rs. 3214 by the end of June, 2006. All Share belong to Government.

Zari Tariquati Bank Limited (ZTBL) is the country's premier financial institution providing financial services to agriculture sector. It is a key specialized Bank of Pakistan providing affordable agriculture financial service to rural sector, comprising 62% of total population. The Bank operates through a country-wide network of 26 Zonal Offices and 347 branches and a team of 1392 Mobile Credit Offices in the field. ZTBL alone serves about half a million farmers annually and has a share of around 28.6% of the total institutional agricultural credit. Since inception up to March 31, 2010, the Bank has disbursed loan amounting to Rs. 648.313 billion. The Bank so far has financing 532,254 tractor 🚜 and 148,486 tube-well besides being the major source of financing for farm input including seeds, fertilizer , pesticides and insecticides. Priority was also accord to the provision of more credit for livestock , daily farming, poultry farming, aquaculture and Financing of oil seed crops.
