Storygame: The Colors of his World / Storygame: I colori del suo Mondo (ENG - ITA)

Welcome back to my steemit profile.
Today I propose a storygame: a story in which you can interact. It’s a crime story about a murder and it’s divided into two parts. In this first part you have to solve an enigma, while in the next there will be the conclusion of the case. Obviously there will be prizes for those who come to the truth, but I’ll talk about this at the end of the post. I hope you have fun!

Storygame: The colors of his world

Of which color do you see the world? You ever wonder that?
For some it is blue like the sea, for others it is brown like the earth or it is green like woods or grey like the big cities.

It’s probably a question for most commonplace, but for some it’s not.

Mike is a 26-year-old blind from birth. He always wanted to see the beauty of our planet with his own eyes, but for obvious reasons he never could. His blindness, however, taught him to see things differently: in his mind he created a world of his own. Listening to people’s stories, he communicates with colors.

I know what you are thinking… How does a blind person know how to define colors? Right observation. Maybe someone could have explained them to him, but he doesn’t really know them. To give you an example, orange could easily be a green or a black for him. Its colors are created with imagination, so don’t expect that they are all the same as those you know (they could all be different).

So far it may seem like a pretty normal story, but Mike witnessed something he can’t easily tell. He’s the only witness to a murder.

The killer killed his sister Lea in front of him without stealing anything. Investigations suggest premeditated murder, but they can’t figure out who did it. The suspects are four: their cousin Chris; Lea’s ex-boyfriend, Hugo; her best friend, Jenny and the cleaning lady, Susie.

The murder weapon is a simple kitchen knife. The victim died of a clean cut to the jugular and, according to the coroner, didn’t even see the culprit. The only relevant details are the strong smell of bleach near the body and the closed room window.

After making the first readings, the police realize they have no hard evidence for any of the four suspects. The situation seems complicated but at some point an investigator gets a good idea: Mike’s blindness may have given him more developed senses over time. He may have understood or heard details that many would have missed. For this reason, the police choose to listen again to the various versions of the suspects in front of the victim’s brother.

Having the interrogations repeated in front of Mike could really solve the case but, unfortunately, the police do not know the great peculiarity of the boy (he lives in a fantasy world and his feelings are defined with colors). Will they be able to find out who the killer is?

The interrogation begins with the suspects' versions and Mike’s views on them.

The cousin Chris

Suspect’s version

I always loved my cousins. I could never hurt them.
That day I passed by their house, but I never went in. I wanted to go and say goodbye, but I didn’t have time and I left. I’m just sorry I was seen by the neighbor, becoming one of the suspects. That’s bad luck.

Mike’s version

Our cousin always got along with me and Lea. I know they recently walked together on a red lake, then passed a gray meadow. They got lost in their green eyes and disappeared.

Hugo, Lea’s ex-boyfriend

Suspect’s version

I broke up with Lea two months ago. I’ve always been in love with her. I’m not the one who walked away! I could never hurt her.
It’s true! I’ve tried to win her back many times. I’ve even been to the day of her death. Oh, shit. I can’t even say it. But the cleaning lady wouldn’t let me in. She told me Lea didn’t want to see me.

Mike’s version

Hugo always seemed aggressive to me. Between him and Lea the sky was perhaps gray, but I know that then weather became blue. Certainly among them the soil became often red, with indelible spots. When there was him my heart also vibrated.

Jenny, Lea’s best friend

Suspect’s version

I was at her place that day. The cleaning lady probably also told you.
She’s famous for not doing her own business. Lea was always my best friend. Why would I kill her? I miss her so much. I was in the bathroom when she was killed. A few minutes of absence and all this has happened... and obviously there are no witnesses to prove it. That nosy Susie is never there when she needs to be.

Mike’s version

Lea and Jenny know each other as kids. They always played with those red cubes. Then they grew up and among them crept green caresses. Maybe it is normal among girls. I don’t know, but I think there’s always been something blue between them.

Susie, the cleaning lady

Suspect’s version

Is that possible? I do my job and am suspected of being guilty. Only because bleach was found on the body of the crime. I didn’t put up with that little girl much, but I could never hurt her. Maybe it was her ex-boyfriend! He wanted to come in the house, but I kicked him out. I never liked that guy.

Mike’s version

The cleaning lady’s been coming to us for four years. She’s a second mom to us now, or at least to me, since she’s replacing our parents on the road all the time. The relationship between Mrs Susie and Lea has always been at first grey, but between them there’s always been a blue cat meowing. This is not the first time that rain has fallen green.

The police have been listening to all the suspects' versions again, plus Mike’s. Who will be the culprit? It’s hard to say right now. Mike was not as clear as you can see, given his rather singular answers. After what they have heard, in fact, police officers feel more confused than before, but they also know that the boy’s words hide the way to the truth. So, to get to the solution of the case, they decide to call a psychologist, Dr. Samantha Jones, at the station, hoping to give clarity to those sentences.

After her arrival she immediately starts to work and after a careful reading she comes to the conclusion that the four colors (red, green, grey and blue) are connected to four different emotions: tranquility, guilt, lie and affection.

Despite knowing how to do her job well, the doctor is hesitant and needs your help to connect colors to her own term/meaning.

Can you help her?
All I can do is wish you good work!

Here is the first part of this storygame. As I wrote to you at the beginning of the post there are prizes for those who will give the solution!

For the first person to match color pairings there’s a 5 steem prize!

To participate it is simple:

  1. Just follow my account and make resteem of my post.
  2. Comment with the pairing of the 4 colors as for example: yellow with sadness

The answers taken into account will have my vote as confirmation of reading. If you want then, you can easily change it up to the payout of the post called: the end of the case. But what will change your choice?

At the end of the story, the first one who gave the correct answer wins the prize. You may be the first to give it at some point, but then something confuses you and changes your options. In that case the prize goes directly to the second who had given that solution (which thus becomes the first). If you want to change your choice, just comment below your previous comment.

I hope this game will enjoy you and I look forward to seeing you participate. In the next part of the story game there will be the end of the case where you have to find the culprit. I wait for your comments with the solutions :)
Bye!

So a cosa state pensando… Come fa un cieco a saper definire i colori? Giusta osservazione.

Riusciranno a scoprire chi è l’assassino?

Nostro cugino è sempre andato d’accordo con me e Lea.

Ciao!
