I drink because I love the feeling.
The feeling that nothing is impossible.
That nothing is insurmountable.
The feeling that everyone can come together, and make the world a better place.
To believe impossible things, to see potential where there is none.
I drink because when I am drunk the world seems less dark, less daunting. I drink because it alters reality, if only for a little and only for me. It's not all about depression and death. It's never been that. Reality is the problem. Alcohol just makes it go away, if only for a few hours. That's good enough, at least for me.
