Yesterday we saw two boring games and the best game in the tournament so far between Spain and Portugal. Ronaldo singlehandedly made fools out of the whole Spain team with generous help of David de Gea who can be blamed for all three goals.
I'm writing this post while France struggles against Australia but they should score a few in the second half and secure three points.
Argentina
Pros: the god of game Lionel Messi, coach Sampaoli
Cons: can't do much without Messi
Island
Pros: Teamwork, tactical discipline, Sigurdson
Cons: serious lack of quality
Summary
Pretty easy decision. Argentina is a better team and they have the best player of all time who is hungry for a trophy. I rarely bet based on one person but I believe that Messi can beat Iceland by himself. Besides, Argentina has better playeras in all positions and should win this one easy although Iceland could surprise with their defense and keep things interesting.
