Co-owned with Ric Forman, this is one of the true first-growth sites in all of California. The dense plum/ruby/purple color is followed by aromas of white acacia flowers, blueberry liqueur, creme de cassis and incense. The wine cuts a slightly deeper, richer, fuller-bodied mouthfeel than even the Madrona, but displays no harshness. The inaugural 2004 vintage was selected as the recommended Cabernet at The French Laundry in Yountville, California during 2007. Tasting Notes: The 2013 Jack Quinn is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and exhibits some aromas of raspberry jam, black cherry, plum, spices, flowers, licorice and smoke. This rich, explosive wine is all about volume and texture with layers of fruit on the palate that build up to a long and creamy finish. Just 200 cases made.
