The Siberian chipmunk (Eutamias sibiricus), also called common chipmunk

Look at those full cheeks! I'm sure they're full of healthy food. These photos were taken in the autumn, just a week before chipmunks hibernate. It is very important for them to collect enough food to survive the cold winter.

All winter they sleep in their dwelling, and only occasionally do they wake up for a short time to eat and "go to the toilet." Enough food helps them not to starve to death and not to freeze.
They feed mainly on plant foods, namely nuts, grass seeds, plant buds, berries.
Moreover, in their dwelling they store it in a separate koinat, which serves as a storage room for them. And each type of food is stored separately, not mixed.
