Start a healthier life now!

The first step for starting a healthier lifestyle is: to have a reason to do it (and the will to do it!). Unless you have a really good reason to start you won´t be able to stay committed and follow through your resolutions.
Most of it is mental, which means that you can put a plan of action in order to remove all the obstacles between you and your fitness goal.
The only thing that matters is that you´re doing something because you really want to do it. When you really found the one reason that stops your excuses in their tracks, you´re unstoppable!
What you really need is to change your habits. The moment you concentrate on the action and not on the end is when you truly transform, inside and out. Start with small changes in your diet and exercise habits. Keep your mind on your goal, and try to push yourself into something you absolutely hate doing, your commitment however strong to begin with, will very soon wear off. An activity you´ll love or can learn to love. Could be running, boxing, bodyweight, or anything that you find suitable to get your goal. The more you try, the higher the chances of finding the one.
Then, you´ve got to block out time on your calendar for exercise and consider it set in stone. No excuses.

Pick a reasonable eating plan. Focus yourself on an eating plan that you can maintain your whole life, not for a month or two. Setting time will only stress you out and make you feel like you want to get to a specific day to stop doing it!
It´s not about getting rid of candy, baked good, sodas. Just because you want a healthy life it doesn´t mean you can never touch any of it ever again.
And be patient! Health is a long-term investment, you´ll see progress itself! With fitness, there is no end date. So, slow and steady is the best kind of speed when it comes to body transformation.
Start a log, is the best way to keep track of your improvements! Keep a log where you can see it all the times, set reminder and cross day off a calendar to reinforce your commitment. We very often hide our logs and then it becomes “out of sight - out of mind”
