Touring Hoi An in Vietnam.

On my last post on touring Vietnam we were in Binh Dinh Province and Marble Mountain in Dang Na after seeing these beautiful parts of Vietnam we decided to move on to Hoi An which was just under a hour's drive away from Dang Na , we had made arrangements with a Van Taxi driver to take us to Hoi An so we all jumped in the van taxi and for about $20 US we were in Hoi An within the hour and all safe. We were booked into a resort called the Vinpearl Resort in Hoi An quite a luxury resort located along Cua Dai Beach.

After all that bike riding in Binh Dinh Province and climbing the marble mountains and walking through caves it was time to relax by the pool , put them feet up soak in the sun enjoy some fruity cocktail drinks with a nice juicy double beef burger with cheese which i was missing so much been away from Australia 😊

After relaxing that day doing nothing but eating and relaxing the next day we all took of to explore the city of Hoi An we found this city very interesting a mix of eras and styles and amazing architecture every where we looked you could say it was Japanese , Chinese and French architecture all within one city.

Hoi An is also known as the Lantern City with all it's traditional colored lanterns but it also reminded me a little of Venice with all the romantic river canals around the city lit up at night with the mix of the colored houses along the lazy river canals made it look so Italian.

What we enjoyed the most in Hoi An was the selections of fresh foods everyday and the varieties available. Hoi An is known for its diverse and excellent foods not only Vietnamese foods which were also superb but for it's many nationalities of foods including Japanese, Chinese and Portuguese and these canal river boat taxis knew exactly were to take you for whatever meal you desired at the time.

The graceful historic town of Hoi An was a very delightful town to see offering you a bit of ancient culture from the Chinese temples to the Japanese covered bridge and the river canals that made you feel like you were in Venice we were all glad we took the time to stop here but now it was time to move on to Hanoi city so stayed tune for our last leg of our Touring of Vietnam.
